1. How does the app work?

Dazl is a mobile application that seeks to create a community of individuals with the intention of meeting new people, making friends, and networking among other uses through our platform. We want you to be able to meet authentic people in real time and from wherever you are, a cafeteria, a Cowork, a bar, on a trip, a hotel, a beach, a museum, etc. There are many situations because the application works very simply: It is 24 hours offline and only when you decide can you activate it by creating a temporary profile. Then you upload a photo that moment and add your name. The GPS is activated and begins to show you other users close to your location (up to 300 meters away). It allows you to chat with up to 3 people you choose and connect for 30 minutes. If you find someone interesting, the rest is in your hands. The idea is that you can meet in person or exchange phone numbers and advance in a closer friendship.

2. How can I create my profile?

To create a profile on DAZL, download the application on your mobile phone and register with:

  • Age
  • Genre
  • Email
  • And an easy-to-remember Password.

3. How can I search for other users?

DAZL automatically searches for users close to you (from 100 to 300 meters) when you “activate” in the application.

4. How can I send messages to other users?

In order to send messages to other users you have to send them an invitation and they have to accept you. Once this happens, a chat opens where you can exchange messages for 30 minutes.

5. How can I update my profile?

Your profile is designed to last 2 hours, then to use the application again you have to create a temporary profile again. During activation you can change the initial photo or add 3 more photos on the “profile” page within the same application.

6. How can I report a user?

If you consider a text message or photo inappropriate, you can report it by clicking on it for 3 seconds and choosing the “report message” option.

7. How can I block a user?

The function of blocking a user is not available at the moment. It’s something we plan to add in the future.

8. How can I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the “Profile” page within the application, this will delete your email address with which you are registered. If you want to use our services again, you simply have to register again as the first time.

9. How can I make sure my information is private?

10. Do I need an account to use the app?

Yes, it is necessary to have an account to be able to use the application. This is for safety reasons.

11. What happens if I forget my password?

Don’t worry, you can reset the password whenever you want by pressing the button in the “forgot my password” application and we will send you an email to the registered email so you can enter a verification code and change the password.

12. Is the app free or does it cost anything?

The app is free for now. We plan to have a Premium payment system later when our users love our service.

13. How can I change my search preferences?

The only search preferences you can select is the gender you want to chat with, (male/female) and the option to filter people by age ranges.

14. How can I make sure my location is not shared?

The application uses your location to show you to other nearby users, but it does not reveal your exact position to anyone, it is simply a matter of proximity.

15. How can I make my profile more visible to other users?

The only way is to activate yourself as many times as you can and want to be available to meet people. They will know that you are nearby and will probably invite you to spark a conversation.

16. ¿Cómo puedo saber si alguien ha visto mi perfil?

It is not possible to know if someone has viewed your profile since the application does not save profiles. The idea is that you upload a photo and activate every time you want to use the application. Only nearby users (up to 300 meters) will be able to see you connected.

17. How can I find someone I met on the app before?

It is not possible, all the information is deleted, the idea is that if you meet someone of interest you can move to other social media platforms and continue your conversation there. It is also important to know that we encourage personal encounters to really evaluate whether we want to continue talking with someone or not.

18. Does the app offer any identity verification options?

At the moment the application only offers verification by email, in a next stage we will incorporate verification via SMS.

19. Is there a way to see who is interested in me?

No because the idea is that they send you an invitation if someone is interested in you and the same for you. Don’t waste time waiting.

20. Why do photos get blurry after someone spends their “3 lives”

It means that that person is already chatting with 3 users and at that time they cannot add more chats to chat with more people. The idea of this limit is that people can dedicate their attention to chatting with the chats they have open.

21. Why do I only have 3 lives? Can I purchase more?
